On the occasion of European Data Protection Day on January 28, Valais-based cybersecurity company Ubcom commissioned a survey from YouGov about how the Swiss feel about protecting their digital data. The survey shows that the Swiss are very aware of the value of their data and are very suspicious of the institutions that collect it. Only 39% trust the Confederation on this issue, a figure that drops to 28% for healthcare organizations and even 5% for banks.
